Known for its design of sustainable and luxury handbags, WILLIQUE collaborated with Amanda Dakin (wife, mother, artist, and environmentalist) to design a capsule collection. Living in a tropical paradise, both Anya and Mandy noticed the need to show how fashion can be sustainable. The pair got to work on a range featuring totes, wash bags, and backpacks. The material is recycled damaged kites from kiteboarders, inspired by the beautiful colors in the sky on a beach day.

SECOND CHANCES: STICH IN TIME
Kite Life began in 2021 by working with members of the Grand Turk Correctional Facility to offer a second chance through meaningful skill development.
Participants received training in stitching and were equipped with the skills to create beautiful bags while earning a fair wage. Through this work, Kite Life helped rebuild lives—one bag at a time.
The program was so successful that participants formed their own group, Stitch in Time. The group continues to work independently on its own projects, carrying forward the skills and confidence gained through the program.
A NEW CHAPETER: READY TO FLY
In 2026, Kite Life expanded its program to include a group of women eager to learn new skills and begin their journey toward financial independence.
The TCI Red Cross is partnering with Kite Life by providing a safe space for teaching and learning. Kite Life is deeply grateful for the donated kites from the community, as well as the new sewing machine and materials provided by The Graceway Community.
Without the support of the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands, these women would not have this opportunity to fly
